Voice Lessons

Our vocal instructors teach a variety of styles, including classical, jazz, musical theatre, folk, opera, R&B, worship music, rock, and pop. Students will learn proper vocal technique while enjoying a wide range of repertoire chosen by the student and teacher. Teachers are also able to help students with audition preparation, along with tips and tricks on topics such as stage fright. Public speaking techniques, as well as basic acting skills, can also be incorporated upon request.

Most students attend lessons once per week for 30 minutes or 1 hour. Homeschooled students may choose to attend lessons as early as 1pm on weekdays (11am on Mon or Wed at the Carrollwood location). Students who attend school have options ranging from early afternoons to late evenings on weekdays. Saturday lessons are available at both locations, with Sunday availability at our Dunedin location.

Each instructor has a specific age range they are comfortable working with (please inquire). Children and adults of all levels are welcome!

Are you ready to sing?

Our vocal instructors and coaches are skilled at teaching a variety of styles, including classical, jazz, musical theatre, folk, opera, R&B, worship, rock, and pop.

Our vocal instructors have strong performance backgrounds with many years of teaching experience as well as education in Music at the collegiate level. All instructors have the minimum qualifications for families to receive scholarship reimbursement from PEP, UA/FES, and many others.

Voice students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more. All voice students set goals with their teacher to work on developing their own unique voice while having fun exploring repertoire in a variety of genres.

No. Beginners are welcome!

Absolutely! Voice students love performing in events that we host throughout the year, which are all optional and free of charge (no participation fee or tickets to purchase). With two large recitals per year and other opportunities that come up throughout the year, students have plenty of choices. Performing on a regular basis helps increase student motivation (since there’s always a new goal around the corner), and helps them to become more confident.

Our voice instructors work with each student to craft a tailored lesson plan that fits the student’s individual needs and favorite type of music. Whether you’re a singer in a band, a seven year old taking their first lesson, or a fifty year old returning to singing after many years, our friendly, dedicated teachers will share their love of music with you and help you set goals to achieve your musical aspirations.
